The marina complex consists of four access walkways
connected to their own parking areas. Generally, each marina has
the facility of twenty-four individual pens, each 8.3 metres wide
separated by docking fingers. The corridors between marinas are
also of a generous width , allowing safe passage and berthing for
houseboats leaving or returning to their moorings.
The wide access walkways on each marina are constructed in solid
checker-plate decking with large flotation tanks as support to
ensure a uniform walking surface. Floodlighting is installed for
after dark access.
A large two berth maintenance barge is provided without charge
for the use of members to carry out minor repairs, maintenance or
cleaning of their houseboats. Metered 240 volt power is
available.
Mini type pontoon barges are also available for members use in
transporting heavy articles to and from houseboats as well as a
crane barge and a barge equipped with fire fighting pumps. The
patrol vessel of the Coast Guard is moored at Darlingford to enable
a close working relationship to be maintained with police and water
authority personnel.
Darlingford Waters Marina also boasts on-site
storage sheds and open area parking for jet skis and runabouts
where members can leave their recreational vessels within the
security of the complex.
